TCC22 will consider the annual report on the WCPFC Record of Fishing Vessels (RFV), including a summary of charter notification information (RP05), which notes improved RFV discrepancy tools but ongoing difficulty confirming area of application. TCC22 will also consider a paper from the Secretariat (WCPFC-TCC22-2026-03), which identifies inaccuracies from temporal-only attribution of chartered-vessel catch (including potential inflation of some purse-seine logbook totals) and seeks a TCC recommendation that the Commission approve a set-level spatio-temporal attribution pipeline integrating logbook positions with RFV charter records, with associated CMS enhancements and a retroactive correction from 2023 where data allow.

As called for in the TCC Workplan for 2026, TCC22 will establish a process for the review of CMM 2024-03, including the scope of analysis required to support preparation in support of the review of the CMM.
