Agenda Item 11.5 Preparations for the 2027 Review of CMM 2025-02 (Conservation and Management of Bigeye, Yellowfin, and Skipjack tunas in the Western and Central Pacific Ocean)
Annotation
The Commission will consider a process for reviewing CMM 2025-02 in 2027, which was postponed from 2026 following an extension of the CMM at WCPFC22. The 2027 review may include a series of intersessional meetings and/or workshops that account for the Commission’s progress in development of harvest strategies for bigeye, yellowfin, and skipjack tunas. Any scheduling of intersessional work will include confirmation of provision of resources required to support online or in-person meetings.
