22nd Regular Session of the Technical and Compliance Committee

Article 30 of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Convention reflects the need for the Commission to fully recognize and support the special needs of developing States, especially SIDS and Territories, in managing and developing fisheries for highly migratory fish stocks in the region. This standing agenda item for all meetings of the Commission and its subsidiary bodies provides an opportunity for CCMs and Observers to consider the Commission's implementation of Article 30 and related matters.
