Agenda Item 4.4.6 Tropical Tuna CMM
Annotation
TCC22 will review implementation reporting compiled in WCPFC-TCC22-2026-IP02 covering 2024–2025 under CMM 2023-01, and 2026 reporting to date under CMM 2025-02, including:
- additional high-seas FAD-set management choices and footnote 1 notifications
- WCPFC–IATTC overlap-area notes
- notifications to increase bigeye longline catch limits
- monthly bigeye longline catch reports (paragraph 38)
- purse-seine EEZ effort/catch-limit notifications
TCC22 may consider providing advice on reporting completeness and any implementation issues that should inform the 2027 review of CMM 2025-02.
