21st Regular Session of the Technical and Compliance Committee

TCC21 will provide advice to the Commission on matters related to monitoring and verification of transhipment activities to improve compliance and monitoring.

The specific issues to be discussed at TCC21 include, but are not limited to:

• Update on ROP Observer data fields data flows for monitoring transhipment activities
• Consideration of observer monitoring of Non-fish transfers (ROP-IWG task)
• Review progress on establishment/implementation of data exchange arrangements with other RFMOs
• Update on task for Secretariat to provide relevant Coastal states with access to transhipment data related to transhipped catches reported from their national waters.
