Agenda Item 7.4 Improving FAD management and monitoring arrangements
Annotation
TCC21 will consider an update from the FAD Management Options IWG Chair Mr Jamel James (FSM) on the work of the IWG.
The TCC Workplan 2025-2027 indicates that TCC21 will review matters referred to TCC by the FAD Management Options IWG, and TCC will consider clarifying the ambiguity around participatory rights, including types of vessels to be allowed to engage in FAD-related activities.
TCC21 may, as appropriate, provide advice and recommendations to the Commission.
